Contract: Freelance (Partita IVA required)

Fluuido Studio Interior

About Fluuido

Fluuido is a curated ceramic studio in Milan.

It welcomes people into a grounded, thoughtful space where ceramics are not only a craft, but a way to reconnect, with materials, with process, and with others.

The studio is rooted in the belief that beauty comes from presence, care, and continuity. Our approach is human rather than commercial. We offer classes, events, and collaborative experiences designed to feel personal, intentional, and deeply connected to the rhythm of the space.

As Fluuido enters a new phase of growth, we are looking for someone who wants to be an active part of this next chapter.

The most important quality we seek is a strong sense of community combined with individual responsibility. We are a small studio, and every person has a visible impact. This role is for someone who sees themselves as part of the project, not as support in the background. Someone who takes ownership, works independently, and is fully committed to the studio’s rhythm and values.

The Role

We are looking for a freelance ceramicist or studio assistant to support the day-to-day life of Fluuido. This is both a client-facing and technical role.

The right person is calm, grounded, and confident in their ceramic skills, with a generous and professional way of working with others. Beyond tasks, we are looking for someone who contributes to the studio’s atmosphere and continuity through presence, care, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching wheel throwing and handbuilding lessons (mainly beginners and intermediate students)

  • Welcoming and guiding clients throughout their time in the studio

  • Managing small in-store sales and front-of-house support

  • Kiln loading, unloading, and basic maintenance

  • Glazing and supporting the finishing of student work

  • Supporting events and external workshops

  • Maintaining cleanliness, order, and care of the space

What We’re Looking For

  • Medium to advanced ceramic skills

  • Wheel throwing experience is essential

  • Calm, emotionally intelligent, and professional presence

  • Confidence in guiding beginners with clarity and empathy

  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to self-manage tasks

  • Alignment with the studio’s rhythm and values

  • Fluency in Italian and English

  • Valid Partita IVA

Working Rhythms and Expectations (Please Read Carefully)

Fluuido operates Wednesday to Sunday, and this role requires consistent multi-day availability.

  • Core requirement: Friday–Sunday availability

  • Minimum 3 connected days per week

  • For the right person, the collaboration can grow to 5 days per week (Wednesday–Sunday)

Daily hours vary depending on lessons, events, and seasonality..

We work with process rather than fixed hours. The studio day ends when the right part of the work is complete. This requires flexibility understood as professional commitment, not casual availability.

Applications will only be considered from candidates able to commit to consistent Friday–Sunday work.

Training Period: A training period of 2 weeks to 1 month will be required before you begin fully supporting the studio. This period is paid and scheduled flexibly, depending on your experience and availability.
