A three-day online workshop guiding you through the complete construction of my Fibonacci Vessel, from the first coil to its final sculptural form. Through short, step-by-step chapters, you will learn how to build and control a larger coiled vessel before introducing the characteristic Fibonacci curves. We will work with proportion, alignment and visual balance to understand where each curve belongs and how multiple volumes can coexist within one form. You will learn how to build outward from the vessel, create and connect the additional curves, control their direction and weight, and refine the entire piece into a balanced composition. DAY 1 | Building the Foundation Preparation, base, coiling, volume, asymmetry and resting the clay. DAY 2 | The Fibonacci Form Developing the silhouette, establishing proportions, positioning and building the curves, alignment and balance. DAY 3 | Refinement Refining the curves, proportions, transitions, surface, neck and final form. ABOUT Sissi Sissi is a ceramic artist and founder of Fluuido, her ceramic studio and store in Milan. With a background in fashion design and seven years of experience working with coiling, her approach to clay is strongly connected to silhouette, proportion, movement and the relationship between different volumes. The Fibonacci Vessel brings these elements together in a more complex sculptural form. This workshop opens the process behind it, not with the intention of creating an exact replica, but to give you the principles and techniques to interpret the form through your own hands. Previous experience with clay and basic coiling is recommended. Level 1 is not required.
